Wow! We are so very happy and completely in love with the creative design of our front and backyard. Jason listened and took notice of every detail regarding our likes and dislikes. He presented us with images that captured exactly what we were looking for. He created the perfect landscape design in our backyard, to complement our new pool and spa. Our front yard is a show stopping combination of heat tolerant plants, stones, and artificial turf. The finished look is beyond our expectations.
Let us just say, Jason and his crew were amazing! Each day they all arrived on time and worked with such integrity. They cleaned their work area at the end of each day and were completely respectful to us and our home. The attention to detail was unbelievable. Jason recognized areas that needed additional drainage and gave his full attention to our project.
His time touring the nursery to view recommended plantings as well as hardscaping selections was such a positive experience. It was a great opportunity to see and expound upon our personal preferences. And when all the plants, stones and boulders arrived, he was spot on.

We bought a new-build home in the Lincoln, CA area that had a dirt backyard. We planned for a pool, patio covers and landscaping. After careful research, we hired Jason and his team at Ledgestone Landscapes to transform our backyard from a blank canvas to low-maintenance oasis. Ledgestone Landscapes did not disappoint.
From the beginning Jason did fabulous work with design, communication and responsiveness. He was forced to work well with the other contractors in that process and a goal to have it all done by spring, so we could have our beautiful backyard for swimming season.
Jason developed a beautiful design, placed drainage, amended the soil, built and installed three redwood trellises, planted the plants we picked out together, installed turf and placed landscape lighting to make it all come to life at night and all at a very reasonable price. He is knowledgeable and professional.

Jason and his crew completed our back yard renovation recently and we could not be happier. He met with us several times to discuss the design. He listened and took all of my Pinterest inspirations to create a beautiful, dog friendly, relaxing space. Our backyard was a mess. We have 5 redwood trees that give us lots of shade and privacy, but also made it impossible to grow grass. It just looked like a dirt pit most of the year.
We re-designed the space to include a small amount of artificial turf that looks very natural. We added a spa and he helped disguise the area using tall plants, mossy boulders - and nice big concrete steps. He made my hammock area easily accessible without having to construct a retaining wall - giving the hillside a very natural look with ground cover, boulders and river rock.
The program he used was so amazing and really helped keep the project close to our budget. There were some tweaks along the way but we are truly amazed with all he accomplished.
I highly recommend Jason. His patience, kindness and sense of humor made the process really great.

We had an idea of what our backyard might look like. Met with Jason and he designed it and sent us a computer generated picture of what it could look like. It far surpassed anything we had in mind! He designed a pool, golf course, overhang shade with lights and a fan. All of his team showed up on time, very respectful, hard workers! Jason met us to pick out the plants and trees for our yard. SO patient=) He walked us through the project with kid gloves and always had a smile on his face. When guest come over to our house the first words are WOW!!!!

We had Ledgestone Landscapes place our artificial turf along with the drainage needed He also gave me suggestions on how to go about certain aspects of the projects (such as how to seamlessly transition the turf into the waterfall hardscape and different options for drainage). He also placed two palm trees and while doing so ran into an existing issue we didn't know about with our existing water fall. He fixed it all, no problem.
Jason is so nice and helpful. He was responsive and timely with every step of the process.

Jason is professional and organized - and also a bit of an artist as far as landscape design. The upfront images he provided when he bid on our project turned out to be spot on to what the finished yard looks like. This was a big project - both the front and backyard and Ledgestone worked well and easily with our pool contractor as well.
Jason also identified some issues we were not aware of (like a lack of drainage in our backyard that could cause us future problems) and fixed those as well (at a fair price).
Ledgestone Landscaping is responsive and when we did encounter a delay or two, Jason let us know exactly why and what to expect next.

Jason recently completed a 200ft french drain in our yard. The final product is great and has helped drain a lot of water in our yard over the last couple incredible storms (No more pumping water!). During the process, Jason was great in helping me when we had to change designs due to utilities not able to mark underground utilities. He worked hard to finish before storms and stayed in constant contact with me throughout the process.
I'm excited to have found a great landscaper as my wife and I continue our journey to create our backyard oasis. Thanks Jason!
I recently had my entire backyard landscaped by Jason Coate (Ledgestone Landscaping). He did a fantastic job. Totally professional and a true pleasure to work with. Jason worked very closely with me, and he was very patient every step of the way. He always gave me recommendations, and always pointed out considerations for various plants. I’ve been very pleased with the overall project. My yard looks terrific. I’ve also been very impressed with Jason’s post-sale support. He did not take the money and run. Just the opposite. He constantly touches base to see how things are going. After the project, I had a small leak in the sprinkling system. When I told him about it, he immediately took time to fix it.

Jason was so easy to work with from day one- responsive, showed up when he said he would, stuck to the schedule, worked with me on any needed changes, helped to keep costs down where possible and did a fantastic job. My front yard looks amazing, especially compared to the very plain plants that you get with a new build. We kept costs down by using smaller plants that will soon grow into much bigger ones to fill out the space nicely.
